Description

A twisting gorge with ancient rock pools and water-worn boulders purveys the banks of the Doring River, which runs through the valley, here the Bushmen painters left evidence of their lives thousands of years ago; lived in harmony with the environment and enjoyed the unspoilt surroundings in Peace. The paintings, pieces of pottery and ostrich shell beads are among the few remnants of their rich heritage.

In keeping with the sense of peace and solitude at Oudrif, it was decided that we limit accommodation to a maximum of 10 guests at one time. This ensures peace and tranquillity and also limits the impact that people have on the sensitive environment.

Each cottage sleeps two guests. They are equipped with one or two beds, an en-suit shower and toilet, a sitting area and a veranda. There are fans for summer and gas heaters in winter.
